Good Shepherd Lutheran Church was organized in 1942, as a congregation of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod (LCMS).  Our congregation supports three missionaries in Africa, a ministry to our Muslim friends in Los Angeles, a ministry to our Indian friends in Turlock, California, and the Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots (LAMP) in Canada and Alaska. We actively support Lutheran Hour Ministries and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. A variety of worship, education and fellowship opportunities serve members of our congregation and the community. A variety of small groups are organized for bible study, support, and fellowship. A contemporary worship service with the Praise Band is offered on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 8:00 a.m. Bible classes are offered for all age groups on Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m.
